A Visual American History Timeline of Books--Intermediate Timeline
A Visual American History Timeline (Digital Download)
History of America through the late 1900’s
This is the Intermediate Timeline--the Primary Timeline's also available!
This visual timeline (digital download) of biographies, historical fiction, and historical non-fiction books is an extension of the Volume I - Primary Level Timeline (also available here for purchase).
Again, its intent is to help visually retain historical information as it relates to special events and people. Bonnie says, "I have chosen a variety of old and new books that can be obtained in local libraries, inter-library loans, and from new and used book dealers. Some of these older books are now available in new reprinted versions.
My desire in making this timeline is to continue the excitement for studying and retaining our American history. Therefore I have included some beginning chapter books, books for older students, and books adults will enjoy sharing with their children.
A visual timeline is an easy way to remember history and how events and people fit together. You can also add your own favorites to make your timeline a family treasure. This timeline can be hung chronologically on a wall or hole-punched and placed in a ring binder. Note that each century is defined by different colored horizontal bars in the middle of each sheet."
